As part of the approval process, the design of the new access to a residential development at Fern Bay was checked against the requirements of Austroads and RMS design guides. The safety audit was then completed upon the new site access upon opening, to ensure that the new works provided a safe transition and that existing road operations were not impacted upon for road user safety.
