The approved masterplan for this residential development allowed for the provision of significant intersection upgrade work to cater for the final stages of the residential release, together with new road connections to the external road network. Our project work involved data collection during the ski season to demonstrate that the existing road connections had considerable spare capacity and that the full development could be accommodated within the existing road network, thereby removing the requirement to construct an additional road connection and new intersections. This saved the developer significant infrastructure works and associated costs.
